Hi! My first day here has been great. It has been a real pleasure to work in your Admin's area and not encounter any problems and have found so far it is very user friendly.

A problem has occurred tonight to both myself and one of my members (my husband, we use the same computer), in that we are unable to access User Cp. We can log in OK but when we click on the User Cp link we are asked to log in again, and the process repeats itself. We have tried logging out then coming back in again later, but the problem continues.

I'm not sure whether this post should be here or in tech support.

Hi Redau! Welcome to BbBoards....it's a great board system. :smile:

This sounds an awful lot like a problem one of my members just had and Pamster got us all straightened out. I just went to your board and tried to access my UserCP and it worked just fine, so it might be this: when you log in, are you checking cookieless login? If you have been, try logging in and and don't check that. Accept the cookie in other words. Then try and see if you can't get into your UserCP. Hope that helps....if not, post something to BbBoy and Pamster in the Tech Support thread and I'm sure they'll get you fixed right up! :smile:

Don't know quite what was causing the problem last night but everything seems fine now. Haven't been using the Cookieless login though we tried it once last night to see if it would help but it didn't.

Thanks for your help and will call back if it happens again - maybe my computer had had enough of all the work it had to do.

Sometimes shutting it off and letting the computer rest for a minute helps. :wink:

I know sometimes my computer wigs out and I get errors like cannot display page errrors and I know the page is there-but I just have to reboot. :lol:
