Law enforcement officials from the Arizona counties hardest hit by illegal immigration say they want US troops to help secure the border, to prevent the deaths of more officers at the hands of criminals who enter the country illegally. “We’ve had numerous officers that have been killed by illegal immigrants(CRIMINALS) in Arizona,” Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu said Monday at a Capitol Hill news conference. “And that shouldn’t happen one time.” Babeu said the violence in Arizona has reached “epidemic proportions” and must be stopped. “In just one patrol area, we’ve had 64 pursuits -- failure to yield for an officer -- in one month,” Babeu said. “That’s out of control.” The recent murder of Arizona rancher Robert Krentz, who was shot to death last month on his own property, apparently by an illegal alien, also has fueled public outrage. Arizona Sens. John McCain and John Kyl, both Republicans, called Monday’s news conference to announce a 10-point plan to secure the border between Arizona and Mexico. They are requesting the immediate deployment of 3,000 National Guard troops and a permanent increase of 3,000 more Custom and Border Protection Agents along the state’s border by 2015... Cochise County Sheriff Larry Dever said he believes the porous southern border is not only dangerous to Arizona but to the entire nation, since terrorists could slip through just as easily as drug dealers. “To me, therein lies the real threat to our homeland security,” Dever said. http://www.newmediajournal.us/national_local/0420a.htm

is it not also statistically verifiable that many of these invaders join up with gangs right from the start... let's face it - to believe all the illegals are merely chasing the American Dream is just fantasy... time to drop the hammer on the gangs as well as seal the borders, i'd say - for everyone's benefit and safety...

it's far past about time somthing was done down at the border, i bet, if our govt. doesn't send some kind of support to the area, we the people eventualy will. our police and our people shouldn't be getting killed by these dirtbags. on the other hand, if we secure our borders, where would our fed govt. get all their revenue that they collect from the drug trade? yea, turns out coccaine can't be made in the U.S., and cheap ass mexican commercial pot is much easier to get your hands on than pot grown here. securing the borders would stop all those drugs from comming in, now we don't want that do we? arrrggghhh anger is a gift. live free and unconform. |

Face it both sides of congress want the illegals,um I meant undocumented guest workers,here. The dems for the votes,the unions for the numbers(never mind that it screws the native union worker),the repubs because the cheap labor keeps wages down.
Neither side is gonna do a damn thing about the invading horde from mejico. It's going to come down to the citizens of the states to deal with them in (copying from the "Green Berets"" a most hideous manner. The next time a White rancher is murdered by illegals,or persons of non citizen status merely visiting this country w/o benefit of documentation,perhaps there will be some form of payback or retribution. Figure they couldn't find a jury to convict an American defending his/her land should some tragedy befall the invaders. Unless and until the US starts treating the illegals as an invading army,which since the gov't of mexico endorses and encourages this invasion it is,and makes the hard choice to fight it as a war,conflict,peace action whatever buzzword there is now,we'll just keep watching the la razas and their lib supporters piss on the US. On the other hand we could just give Arizona back to the original owners,they dealt with the mexicans far better than we could.
