Start at the state level, have a protest right in Augusta. Make the state aware they have more power than the feds.

Re: 2010 March on DC

March right here in Augusta sounds like a very good idea.

We've been discussing just a normal protest on the same day every week. As the group outside of the Capital grows, we can split it into different days; some on this day, some on that day etc...Until every day, there is a presence in front of our Capital reminding our Legislature who is Boss.

Written words can reference our 9th and 10th Amendments.

And there is sure to be publicity.

And another thought as well, look at the last time they had a g8 meeting in Seattle I think it was,the cops sent in trouble makers so that they could arrest everyone who was there. They made the excuse.

Their forums are back up again and steadily increasing in numbers again. I was the 70th to join and so far it looks as if I am the only one from Maine.

Not for long CMSMDan. I like the idea of 100,000 in DC really pissed off gun owners, unarmed would be a bummer though. Imagine just standing there armed daring the ptb and their jblapdogs to try and stop us.

Col,with all due respect they're gonna try to stop us using their entrapment anyway, let's get it over with.

I'll go to DC unless there's gonna be a big march on Augusta,it's gotta be big enough to garner attention or else we'll just look weak.
1 or 2 thousand would be nice,5000 better.

patriotman one minor correction if I may: make the state aware that WE the PEOPLE have more power than either the state or the feds.

midstate it would if there were enough people, along with a big march in DC. I rember the "peace day rally" on boston common(sad to say I was there)100,000(est) people it made national news.
Just think about how the media would react to 5000 gun owners marching on Augusta, besides being scared to eath I mean.LOL
Yeah we'd make the news.

I'm sure that it would make the news. A march on wasington and all of the State capitals at the same time would be more impressive I think, that would get more than the medias attention.

I could go to Augusta for sure. Trouble is choosing which gun I could live without if they start snatching them. Maybe an airsoft gun with orange tip removed would be a better risk. Don't want to puss out but I can't afford to lose any part of my arsenal. Maybe the PT92...

Re: 2010 March on DC

I spent last weekend in Washington and I love the city.

I am willing to go in 2010. if someone drives I will help out on cost. If we get a few together we could stay at a cheap motel $79 a night out at the Air base where we were. $20 each a night.
