In July, at MPM's reorganizational, meeting it was determined that we will make the effort to meet about every 60 days. That said, September is quickly approaching so I'd like some input for possible dates, etc.
I will be out of town from before Sept 1st till the 17th(grbaby #12 in Fla) but I'm OK with either weekend following which are the 18th & 19th and the 25th & 26th or even into the beginning of October. That's drawing the time out a bit in my thinking but what must be must be if that's the way it goes for maximum participation. And, though i'll be away, i will have my laptop with me so i will keep up on things online. Prospective members as well as those who frequent the Board and are of like mind as MPM members but have not committed to join are also welcome to come. If you can host the meet-up, let us know what will work best for you which should include dates, times, duration, if there's a range and a reasonably-sized body of water(river, lake/pond for fishing, of course)nearby, and if "significant others" can attend(i have no problem with them being present) and advise us of any other situation you feel might impact or effect the meeting - positively or restrictive. I'm puttting an "agenda" together for our meeting so, once we have a date/place/duration, i'll be in position to get it better settled. I'd like to see at least 2 or 3 20 minute segments dedicated to some kind of training like maybe putting together a B.O.B./G.O.O.D. Bag and possibly something from the medical field that would be of use to anyone attending or whatever we can use but come prepped to make the presentation if you make the suggestion and have the expertice... please, give it some thought, the quicker we get the basics established, the quicker we can know what we'll be doing. I'll post the completed joint effort here. Last thought: if you want to attend but have transportation issues, let me know as i am willing to help you make the meeting. Let's make this happen and let's make it good. |

well first off, atr, you're invited to R-II meetings as is anyone else not in "officially" within these boundaries... second, if you're "out there" and are interested in taking part/having a part then i need your input - whatever it may be - for the next meeting... i can't nor will i even try to do it alone - i don't have the knowledge, skills nor energy(12 grkids makes me officially an old fart lol)...
