| tesoro12 | Re: More American Gold Eagles! Just got an email from Dave about the 9th circuit. He also said they haven't raised enough $ to even cover the cost of the gold eagles- SHAME! Every member needs to get online right now and donate $10 to the legal fund! I guess the miners don't care enough about CA mining to even try to keep it. We are so ticked right now- we spent a week on the Klamath using our associate membership time and enjoyed the camping and the mining. Not a lot of gold, but at least we had the right to try for it! We donated to the legal fund so that we can continue to spend our time on the 49er claims and be prospectors! We read a lot of blogs about the Forest Service's and BLM's injustices- how do you think we can get the issues resolved without legal proceedings? They are out to get us. They did away with logging in Siskiyou- not to mention every other N. CA logging town- now it's miners, hunters, and fishermen on the chopping block. Do we just say "ok, I can't afford it- let someone else help"--- NO- we donate what we can to keep our rights! CHALLENGE # 2- Donate what you can! Help keep our rights because the Feds want to take them all away. |

We need to keep the fight going against the feds and the state- to keep our rights to OUR public lands! We know times are hard- Kathy has been out of work for a year- my job is on the line- mining may be the only income we'll have- so be it- BUT, we all have to work for our rights! Steve and Kathy |
