In other words, they don’t have any proof of dredgers ever harming a single fish. “I don’t know” isn’t an answer to a yes or no question. Can you answer that question now? Now, they need to be asked these questions…. 1. How many fish were harmed by Indian tribes last year? 2.How many fish were harmed by fishermen last year? 3.If you are going to impose draconian regulations on dredgers, don’t you think that you owe it to the public to at least know if it is harmful? Where is the "HARM" that you are regulating against? |

I believe we are facing non-environmental opposition. It's cool and groovy to be anti-mining while hiding behind a false sense of environmentalism. Let's strip off the phony garb of environmentalists' and reveal their true intentions. Problem is......who or what is their complaint? Enviros are liars. They say things about dredgers which have been systematically refuted by third party science. No I think it's a society clash between guilt and honesty. |
