Chinook Are Traveling I-5 In Trucks
CDFW in their limitless wisdom have decided to destroy the natural-born salmon spawning practices.

I live where the Sacramento River is in plain sight. The river is flowing pretty heavy. I suppose this drastic action is necessary due to summer less-than-normal Shasta Lake water releases.

Watch and weep while enviro-mania shows it's true self.

In the quiet of the morning some 420,000 Chinook salmon were loaded into three tanker trucks embarking on a four hour journey to the West Delta in Rio Vista.

A feast for the Stripers!

Sure looks great on the surface, but from observations during my lifetime it looks like enviro-nuts meddling with nature and messing things up.

Hey thanks Wildminer,

40 million smolts raised for slaughter, never to spawn, where each individual fish is considered $100 by commercial experts.

There's got to be a better way.

Re: Chinook Are Traveling I-5 In Trucks
And DFW charges $1000 a fish when there are killed "accidently".

Don't forget the 1000s they killed this year when DFW had the American River flow increased to increase spawning and then decreased the flow for the drought and left all those eggs high and dry.
