power sources
Hello and just putting this out to any who have a curious concern about how to make mining the gold
one we can make cost effective with a generator invented in Australia. I found this video on youtube and thought this tech could help lower our needs of gas powered use one day or at least make living off the grid in remote areas easier while mining the area. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EOcNhvGVJl0
along with this has anyone tried solar or wind power successfuly in the area for household use?

Re: power sources
Both solar and wind have been used in very limited applications in this area. Part of what makes this area so beautiful and pleasant also makes it a poor area for those alternative power sources. We are in a small mountain valley that is heavily forested. The wind is fickle and the sun fleeting.
