Water flow... I have a small recirculating sluice built around the EZ Sluice. Since I want to conserve battery power, does it hurt to turn the water flow on and off between clean outs?

Re: Water flow... The surge when you turn the water back on is the problem. The best way to tell how much of a problem it will be is to run a controlled test. Put some of your finest gold dust through out the sluice and turn the water on and off a few times. Observe if the gold moves down the sluice.
