If you plan on dredging in shallow water like less than a couple ft a suction nozzle is the way to go, mostly used on highbanker combos. If dredging in deeper water where the chance of gulping air (fine with a suction nozzle) does not exist then a power jet will is the way to go as it is constantly under water and provides a greater suction at depth than a nozzle. I guess the pro of a nozzle is that you can suck air without affecting the system.
