Hi. My name is... ( 01:01:30 SunMar 3 2013 )

I live in the eastern belt of the motherlode. 5 long hours from Happy Camp.
Late last year I got my lifetime membership packet from the New 49ers. I have been prospecting for about 16 years, recreationally and never professionally. I am a very hard worker and know the work it takes to get the gold. I pretty much do my own thing when prospecting but hope to make new friends this year. If you need help or want to meet up and work together this summer let me know. If you need help moving overburden in the river, I've got a regulator and weight belts. I have never underwater mined, I have owned dredges (still own a 2.5 and a 3" Keene) and just long armed it. I'm eager to learn and work hard. The two days I mined on the Klamath last year netted me more gold than any two day period in my carreer. Thats why I was able to justify the membership- and being a single father of 3 kids, I'd love to have them grow up some in the beautiful area that is Happy Camp.
Anyway, Just figured I'd say hi on here so maybe I can say hi in person this summer.
All the best.

Hi Brian,

Welcome to the club and the forum. You're going to like the outfit and the folks. Check in with Montine and Myrna at the office / store, very helpful with info and equipment.

I'll be posting when I get "over the hill" to the Happy camp area this spring. Your more than welcome to dig some dirt alongside.
