Since anti-mining activists are going to be pushing hard to try and get the authorities to do something about us, it is important in advance to have some perception of what the authorities will be concerned about -- and especially be aware of the limiting regulations concerning U.S. Forest Service employees.
A healthy portion of our May newsletter has been devoted to the subject of relating with State and federal authorities as we are conducting our small-scale mining activities this season in California. We have brought on two additional, highly-experienced Internal Affairs guys this season to assist members in the event that any of you guys are approached by State or federal authorities along the river. The material in the newsletter speaks quite clearly for itself. So it serves no helpful purpose to launch into detailed discussion about it on an open forum. Thanks for trying to understand. Our Internal Affairs Director can be found on our Contact page. |
