Good day all. I am new to the club and will be planning a trip to happy camp soon. Was wondering if atv's are allowed on the claims because I haul my 3" dredge on my 6 wheeler. I have not been there yet so this is the first in probably many questions to come. Tom

ATV's are okay on pre-established roads and trails, and in places where there is no vegitation to tear up.

I also have a 6 wheeler set up to haul a 6" dredge that I seldom use up here. On most claims it is either too steep or has too many larger rocks to be of much use. If you have plenty of room bring it on, if not haul something more useful.

Heck Rusty, I didn't notice how steepness or rocks/boulders slowed you down any. You need a pilots license the way you go through the woods.

Hey Lee, I did see Rusty in the water last year !!! He and another fellow had a "Old Ancient 8in. dredge" in the water just below Happy Camp trying to make it run. It was smoking like a "freight train", and had the access for the water trucks blocked to get water for the fire. So now we can't say Rusty don't get in the water, there was a witness with me and we were sober. .... Jim ...

I hear you Lee. You sure didn't see any dredge tied on to the top did you. when I get up over 40 the dredge acts like a sail and wants to fly. Besides there would be no room for Glen.
