Public and political opinion, not just New 49rs, are taking action to suppress the long running water feud with tribal nonsense. The general welfare and continued water safety is forcing re-examination of what priorities were and are now responsible for the Klamath River Dams construction.
.http://www.krcrtv.com/news/local/northstate-congressmen-team-up-on-water-storage-legislation/25054860 This year if the Klamath Dams were already gone in order to satisfy the tribal and enviro-maniacs, the river would be a string of puddles, unable to sustain a single salmon. As long as the drought continues the conditions would worsen. It makes no sense to continue to accommodate the ill-conceived holy war being waged by special interest groups who are out to play environmentalism with our water. Water usage must be first and foremost. |

As long as there might be the slightest chance that the eco-terrorists can add more money to their agendas by spreading lies and misinformation to those sheepels that will listen, they will continue to challenge anything that doesn't grow their bank accounts. We need to continue to shove their rhetoric, lies and misinformation right back into their ugly little....faces... like we have been doing. Yes, it is expensive to go to court over anything and everything, but the eco-terrorists didn't count on the miners and other land and water users banding together to challenge them on every issue. They ARE loosing this war!

Yea but if the dams were gone, and the Klamath was whimper of a puddle (like use to get before the dams) then we wouldn't need to dredge
![]() But I guess CA would allow us to dredge since there wouldn't be any fish (like it's about fish anyway). Thanks for posting Rod ratled |

If it were truly about the fish, don't you think it would be the fishermen who were targeted. Prospectors don't kill fish. Fishermen do!!

Court battles are one thing, but I believe we need to get the truth out in front of the uninformed public.....and it is in this respect that I feel we could do a better job.
We need to more effectively utilize the public media, (just like the whackos do)....not just mining forums. |

You're right A reg,
The article linked above, helps a lot. I like knowing that some of our experiences are being used as rallying points for elected officials to make speeches with. Building momentum and keeping it going will open uninformed minds. CA dredgers are victims of wrong doing. |
