Last week or so the Sac. Bee ran a story about tests being done in the high Sierra's lakes here in Ca.. In the high Yosemite Park lakes it was also noted the mercury count was very high, maybe "don't eat the fish". Now everybody blames us for the mercury in the streams and rivers left over from the gold mining days, we stir it up----well, that's b.s., there was never any mining done that high up.
I don't know where you can find the tests and I put the paper is a safe place, so safe I can not find it.

The tests that I am aware of have had data left out or are skewed to reflect the pre-determined anti-mining outcome...one exception, the recent Ca. Water Board study that declared that Ca. fish were safe to eat...I'm having a hard time finding the actual paper on that though myself.

FYI guys,

We all do it. I've trained myself to post a forum link to the relevant articles. Pretty much every time I can do a search and pull it back up. Try to use the digital storage.
