Connecticut man in stable condition after Klamath River incident
Thursday, July 31, 2008 8:19 AM PDT 8:10 a.m., Thursday, July 31, 2008 A Connecticut man is in stable condition at the Rogue Valley Medical Center, recovering from a Tuesday afternoon incident during which he was separated from his air line and safety line during dredging on the Klamath River west of Horse Creek. Karl Margolis, 55, began breathing about 10 minutes after being pulled from the river by fellow miners who also performed CPR on the man. There were six witnesses to the incident. |

That sounds like a close call! I'll bet Karl is thankful to the miners who pulled him out and performed CPR. Great job to who ever was involved! Miners are good people.

Now That we are all back in Connecticut I wanted to take a moment and thank all those who were present when karl had his axident. Thanks especially to Rich & Connie Krimm, Terry and Joanne and John and Madella. If it were not for Madella's vigilance and Richard's strong arms we would be attending a funeral here in CT. The response from the local ambulance services and the Life star helicopter was phenomonal. It all came together perfectly to save Karl's life. thanks again to all who helped. We are in your debt. P.S. not sure if Karl will return but I am sure you will see John and me on the river next summer!
