CA Dredge permit ( 22:20:46 ThuFeb 7 2008 )

I spent last year high banking and panning around Happy Camp and Coulterville. This year I want to use the dredge attachment in some of the active waterways. Is there anywhere on the internet where the dredge application is available? I'm currently in Arizona and would like to get the paperwork taken care of before spring.

I've also read that if I have spent more then six continuous months in California, within the year prior to the date I apply for the permit I can apply as and pay the resident fee. True?

Any help would be appreciated.

Greg

Fish and Game Code Section 70 defines "Resident" as any person who has resided continuously in the State of California for six months or more immediately prior to the date of their application for a license or permit, any person on active military duty with the Armed Forces of the United States or auxiliary branch thereof, or any person enrolled in the Job Corps established pursuant to Section 2883 of Title 29 of the United States Code.

One major consideration when applying for a RESIDENT dredge permit is the drivers license you are carrying and your auto tag!

Thanks, I guess that answers the residency question.

Is there anywhere I can download a copy of the application?
