ALL new 49ers are invited to stop in and visit. Maybe you would like to have your picture taken and sign our guestbook. Nothing fancy just an opportunity to meet and talk dredging. No strings attached. Last year we discovered local networking to be valuable. The more we expanded the net the better our time became. Most of us enjoy the club office in Happy Camp and all of the conversations. We might be able to fillin the void along the Rogue, especially for new arrivals who are needing some answers quickly. That cold beer sure sounds good! By the way, I just got off the phone with Theresa, the manager of the RV park, she is booked solid thru 8/15. The OR state park about 1 mile north has room available.

If you're traveling on a tight schedule and need to dredge asap I recommend delaying your trip. The river is raging and the rain is forcasted to continue. The event celebrates the gold miners of the area, old and present day. Try to make it if you can, this is a golden opportunity to help small town Oregon pay it's respects to us the gold dust providers. Media coverage is expected.
