Anyone who thinks government can solve our problems, or that we need bigger government, is terribly misinformed. I recommend a careful read of this article!

From a miner's perspective, one can easily understand why the state declared small scale gold mining illegal....... We lived and worked for personal freedom. We eliminated the state involvement in our net worth. We decreased the worth of the state and enlarged our own worth. As a result, the state would eventually die from lack of revenue and we would become far too independant. That could not be.

Rod: your wording in the last paragraph of the posting is extremely well done. Simple analysis, and the straight to the truth point---if all levels of government can't (each) get their fingers in our pokes---then shut us down completely---until we figure a method to override the unconstitutional actions of the government and enviro wiennies.
