Semi Pro Prospector ( 21:53:26 SatSep 22 2012 )

Over a year and a half since my new hip. Camped at Wind Gate in Jan. detecting. July and Aug. Dave's adventure's at Savage Rapids. Got to say high banking sure was therapy for the new hip. Used two high bankers Big Tom's and Doug's. Totally impressed with the Le Trapp high banker Doug made. I'm building 4 high bankers of different design do to materials at hand. Finish 1 today. http://prospecting.atspace.com/LeTrap-folding-highbanker.html Have a Mac Vack and processed about 150 bucket's. 1/2 a penny weight. Now that I have a high banker I'm Semi Pro. Oh yeah I've improved on panning.

I'm glad you're moving up.

Some advice though....

If you only got a 1/2 pennywt in 150 buckets, move on to some better material.
With a shop vac on crevices/bedrock, you should be getting a 1/2 pennywt every 4 or 5? buckets. That is only 12 grains. In fact, if I didn't get 12 grains in 2 buckets, I be gone.
I paid for a new Gold Cube($300) with probably 12 buckets using a shop vac.

BTW, how are you going to run 4 highbankers? Most only need one. In fact, I don't know anyone that uses two highbankers. Maybe different screens or riffles for different materials.

I'd be spending the time it takes to build 3 more highbankers mining!

Maybe 150 buckets was more than fact. Any way will only use one high banker but have proto type grizzly's to test. WB

Yes now that I've built a few grizzly's each one transcends to another design. Just need to get into Big Sur and check'm out. WB
