We're so new we still have a welt where the goldbug bit us! We just joined as associate members and plan on a full membership if we enjoy our week visit. I like the 2" Keene with the highbanker add on. Should we wait until after exploring your claims to buy encase we decide on a larger one? What month should we decide on vsiting? Our only knowledge if from Dave's 'modern Mining tech." Thanks

Dredging is best the last couple of weeks in July on the Klamath, after that the algea blooms, and before that, Irongate is still releasing a lot of water. Down river it isn't too much of a big deal tho. Don't buy anything until you know what you want to do unless you have a surplus of money. Getting started is expensive enough as it is. Then, try to buy a good "used" piece of equipment rather than new. Will work the same and no depreciation.
