Age has force me to sell this dredge. Currently am 68.5 years old and have concluded I must scale down. Therefore, I am selling my dredge.
6 INCH GOLD DREDGE FOR SALE Over $7,000 put into this custom gold dredge in the last 2 years. This does not include hours of labor, but only parts and accessories. Dredge has been actively working this season on the Rogue River near Gold Hill and has recently been taken out of the water. Dredge is available for showing near Roy, Washington. Just a list of some of the features: -Tiny Tacs on each engine to determine RPM. -Two 5.5 Honda Engines: governors removed, carburetors adjusted to match -ProMac water pumps -10 gallon aluminum gas tank (no more filling up the tank every 2 to 2.5 hrs). -Ladder (board the dredge in deep water), small winch to adjust top of sluice box angle with ease! -6 D&K floats for maximum floatation allowing boarding of this dredge even with weight belt on. -10 foot over and under sluice box with LaTrap like riffles in lower section and a combination of 4-6 lb. expanded metal and Hungarian riffles (nugget trap) upper section. -Combination of Vortex mat and Miners Moss upper section -30 ft. 6 inch suction hose with swivel nozzle and 4 inch reduction stainless steel ring -Hot water heater system -Keene pressure washer unit (blaster) for breaking down impacted material -Stainless steel air reserve tank -Twin T-80 air pumps with check valves -Triton Aluminum tilt trailer: with spare tire -Clinometer (to determine slope of sluice box in degrees accurately) -Drainzit Oil Drain Hose on each engine for easy, mess free oil changes. I must add a note to the previous ad. The dredge isn't as "pretty" as it is shown in the photo after a few month's dredging on the Rogue River. You must see it to appreciate it!

After some deliberation, I have decided to replace the 5.5 hp Honda engines with two 11 hp Honda engines and pumps. Necessary hoses jet with 3 inch logs etc.

Yeah it's beautiful. You ought to meet the owner/builder, Big Jim, a truely fine man.
I think this dredge will operate as a twin 4". 2 nozzles simultaniously gathering Rogue River nuggets. 2 guys @ $3,000 each. It's a remarkable deal. |
