I've been wanting to get into prospecting for a while so I went to the Gold and Treasure show in Red Bluff a few weeks ago. It was there that I was introduced to the New 49ers. I went home and scoured through the handout material and them poured through the internet for more information.
I joined up about 10 days ago and can't wait to get started! My son, 16 years old, and I are going to go up to Happy Camp this week if the weather permits. I want to go to the headquarters, turn in my paperwork and meet some people and get more information. Looking forward to meeting some new friends and finding GOLD!!

Hi to you all we had joined the 49ers around the first part of April 2012. We also had gone to the Red Bluff gold show, met so many nice folks. We had talked with the great folks at the 49er booth. My wife and I had logged on the 49er web sight and we were sold and became a associated member. We want to do the outing in June so we can meet all the great folks, it sounds to us that the 49er have a great group of people that want help people get started in a fun and rewarding gold prospecting adventure. We live east of Redding Calif ina small town of McArthur calif. We can'nt wait for the weather to get a little warmer so we can go out and fine some yellow in our pans.:

Tesoro,
Happy to have you and your wife as members. My wife and I lived on the 'Pitt Bench' overlooking the Fall River and the wonderfull little town of McArthur back in the early eighties. Wonderfull area, about as far as you can get from the 'big city' in California. Makes for a relatively short trip to the Klamath and 49'er country. Bill&Barbara |
