Well here we go, I haven't been out prospecting in 10 years used to dredge a lot all through so.California. I have to get back in the water I loved this life and the people were great. So I live along way from the border of Oregon in southern California I want to be able to leave my RV, Jeep, 4" dredge and other equipment up in Happy camp and fly up for 4 day weekends get some dredging in and head home to the grind, any input would be appreciated I could probably sneak a week in once an while but I have business to run. Is there any wifi or Internet service up there, I might be able to run my business from up there.
I need to here the gravel going through the hose again

obrecht, I really can't be of much help, I'm sure Jim will be along to help you with info, as well as many others. But I'd like to welcome you back to the "sound of gravel going through the hose again". Enjoy!

You are right So Cal is a long way from here. Unfortunately there is no dredging in California right now. It was shut down in 2009 and we haven't been able to get it opened up again yet.

But Dave has just bought new claims up in Oregon on the South Umpqua River. At least this way members will have somewhere to dredge.
