It isnt really an excuse to be elderly and not in control of the dog. Too many like that round where my mum lives. Young lively dogs too big and not enough exercise. I can understand it gives older folk a sense of "protection" but its not fair on the dog nor on those on the receiving end of the dog being over zealous in its mistaken guarding activities or frustration or perhaps both. Bonnie did get a wee infection but we have treated it, we always have Fusiderm to treat cuts & scrapes, she is healing nicely, not so sure she will forget the incident though. No doubt we will hear what has happened to the dog because where it lives is very close to a forest walk a lot of dog owners use, |
