Hand Cream Fettish
Do any of your babies have the same love of hand cream that Sasha has???!!

I swear, she can hear a tube of hand cream being uncapped if she is sound asleep in the garden, and she'll be at my feet trying to lick the bottle and my hands!

The worst time is when I put some on my feet after a walk to the beach - she will just follow me, licking my feet as I go!!

I am told it's the glycerin they like and that it can be good for their skin, so I sometimes pop a wee bit on her nose and leave her trying to lick it off for 10 mins - but I tell you, that dog is addicted to the stuff!!!

Jake used to be obssessed if Mike put aftershave on and would be desperate to lick his face - Heskeys not that bothered, has a sniff and goes away.

Tash is terrible Karen she loves the following and goes all cow eyed when she smells them:-

Handcream, shampoo, soap - bars and liquid, mints, toothpaste, sudacrem, savlon, tcp, hair gel, aftershave.............................................basically if it is used for cleaning or to make something smell nice she wants it. Molly is no where near as bad she just likes soap and shampoo.

Funny liitle babies aren't they.

Katie would be like that too - I have dry skin and use Diprobase - get it from the doc. Have to make sure Katie is nowhere in sight when she is about. She would slurp it down like a kid with a ice cream.

Actually Heskey is partial to chewing on soap if he can sneak off and get it. Brings a new meaning to foaming at the mouth!! But i have to say his breath is much better after it!!!!!

Oh god soap!! We have moved all our bars of soap to a higher level and use bottled soap downstairs!! Three times she has eaten the bar and thrown up a soapy puddle!!

Suet was my last girl's weakness - had to stop buying the stuff (and for my own health), she could sniff it out at 20 paces!

Gotta love 'em!

Please be very carefull when it comes to soap. We had a lady on the phone who has not long ago lost her boxer to a bar of soap. He opened 2 dors and jumped a babygate to get it.
Soap doesnt melt, basically he choked to death. Poor thing!

That's a very sad story Jacquie, it's not worth even beginning to think of all the dangers round the house :sad:

Polo loves any kind of moisturiser, but particularly likes sun cream - nothing like relaxing in the garden with a sloppy boxer licking your legs :ohwell:

My 3 love all sorts of moisturisers, shampoo, etc, Rock like to come in to the bathroom while any of us are having a bath, he is so thoughtful! offering his rather large tongue as a flannel heehee
