Hi there .. my name is Karrie and I live in Ontario Canada. I am in the midst of adopting a slightly troubled 5 year old girl.. her name is Roxy. I am excited and nervous too I guess. I was just told today I was her last shot... AHHH the pressure!! Naaaa I am kidding .. we fit !! the ladies that have her were crying cause they had never seen her so relaxed and happy with someone before.
Anyway we are slowly bringing her into to the family... I have an older shitzu/toy poodle he is 13 and we are unsure how she will be so a slow (2 week period) daily visits and lots of one on one time together I think will be best.
Anyway I just wanted to say Hi and I am so glad this group is here!! Thank you in advance for your support and advice as I know for sure I will need lots! lol
