Thank you.:loveya:

I must admit, I am getting a little nervous about it all!!

I have every confidence in my vet to do a good job, and he is totally on the ball with the anaesthetic etc, but I am mainly worried as to what the lump actually is.

Last time they were really quick with the results and phoned them through to us on the Friday afternoon so we could have a relaxing weekend!! Hopefully they will do the same this time!!

Good god this is madness! Been awake on and off all night and now have butterflies the size of golden eagles! I noticed another lump on her cheek last night so I must remember to ask the vet to look at it. It might just be acne or a bite etc, but it does look the same as all the others.

Jacquie, I had a wonderful dream last night that you came over to my house with a new white baby girl for me! She was called Snowflake and had a deformed tail!! You bought Sasha and Blue with you and I have to say, they were gorgeous.

If you ever get a 2 month old white girl in with a malformed tail - you know who to call! That would be too spooky for words!

Only 1 half hours before I take her to the vet, got to go and try and eat some breakfast.

Well that's me with an empty house! Anyone want to lend me their baby so I have enough boxer love to get me through the day!

The vet is going to shave the area around the new lump and have a look at it, but he thinks it may be another hystiocitoma.

Will phone the vet at 2pm and see how she is getting on.

Re: Good luck Sasha & Karen

Just phoned the vet. She is still really sleepy so I have to phone back after 3.30pm to find out if I can get her at 4pm!

Apparently the vet removed both lumps and they have both been sent off to the lab, so it's just a case of waiting now. I haven't spoken to the vet, just the receptionist, so I am hoping to have a quick word with him when I collect her to see if he is concerned at all about either lump.

Will let you know how she is later on.
Thanks for all your kind words, and for the call Jacquie!

Not long to wait now Karen

Your baby will soon be back home to make your house a boxer house again.

At least with the vet removing the second lump at the same time you won't have to worry and wait about that one.

Hugs and kisses from all of us

Ok well I have her home now. She is feeling decidedly sorry for herself, mainly due to the fact that her stomach is empty! I think if she had the choice, she would have her dinner now!

The vet is going to chat to me when we go back to get the stitches out on 2nd, about why she is getting so many in such a short space of time - 3 histiocytomas in 10 months!!

He sent both lumps off to be analyzed - just have to wait now!

Other than that - I think a buster collar is going to be in order, she is already scratching at her cheek bless her.

Just glad to have her home again!

Poor thing.

She is just like Henry was. He was only interested in seeing the other two and his FOOD!!!!

I tried to settle him with the other two out of the way and he wouldn't settle so i gave in and bought them back indoors and then he kept going to the water bowl and turning his nose up at it - I knew he was looking for the other bowl!!!

At least you have her home now and can give her all the love and attention she deserves.

Give her a big hug from us.

Going to try and add a photo of Sasha's stitches on her cheek - its the first time I have tried it like this!

As you can see, she is feeling particularly sorry for herself! I had to relent and feed her at 6.15pm, she was crying all the time and I couldn't bear it!

I am sure that now she has a full belly, she will settle down and rest for the rest of the evening.

He has done a really good job - When Tia had her hystiocytoma removed from her side her skin was so puckered up it looked really bad until the stitches come out.

That looks so neat and tidy.

I am sure once she has had a rest she will feel a lot better.

Big hugs and a wet sloppy kiss from Henry

Re: Good luck Sasha & Karen

Sasha is back to her normal self - although I am still recovering!

She started scratching her cheek last night so we had to put the buster collar on her! To say she was not pleased is an understatement! If she could have sworn, the air would have been blue I can tell you! Suppose it didn't help that I had tears streaming down my face laughing at her.

Anyway, she couldnt get into her bed as she kept banging off the sides when she tried, so I made her a little "nest" at the foot of the stairs. She took ages to settle, but eventually I thought I would get a good night's sleep. Sasha had other ideas however and by 1.30am I was sleeping on the sofa in the living room as she kept crying at the top of the stairs!! She was really restless all night and kept getting herself into a right state - I was getting worried that this collar would really depress her.

I am going to try and rig up some bells and discs etc and put a puppy collar round her right leg or something. I figure that if it makes a lot of noise when she scratches, she might stop - but if she doesnt, at least I will know and can stop her. There is no way I can sleep on the sofa for 10 nights dealing with a depressed boxer who can't sleep!

I felt so sorry for her - she couldnt even have a wee with it on because when she put her head down to "find her spot" the collar dragged along the ground and yanked her head down! Poor wee baby!

Any other tips on stopping her scratching???!!

Oh Karen - you wicked thing laughing at her.

She will get her own back on you one day I am sure !!!!

How is she feeling now - although she is probably still depressed if she is stilll wearing her collar and you are still laughing!!!!

I hope she has brightened up a bit and that all goes well with the results of the analysis.

Let us know as soon as you hear anything.

Give her a big cuddle from all of us- we won't laugh at her!!

Re: Good luck Sasha & Karen

Thankfully she hasn't bothered with her stitches, so we haven't had to put the collar back on!!

She is doing really well actually - we took her to the school yesterday afternoon and she was, of course, the centre of attention and loved every minute of it! I also took her to the beach last night and she had a ball.

No results from the vets, the receptionist is going to phone me tomorrow if they are in, if not it will be Monday

Fingers crossed!!!!!!!!!!

No - the results aren't back yet

I will just have to keep phoning everyday until they are!! Will post the results as soon as I have them.

Sasha is doing really well and hasn't scratched her face at all - thank goodness! I haven't had to put the collar back on her so we have had peace and quiet at nite. I have got a huge bruise on my arm where she kept banging the collar on me when I had to sleep on the sofa with her!

I have a huge knot in my stomach and I dont know if its because hubby is off to Saudi tomorrow or because of Sasha's results!

O'h Karen, you never said! You poor thing. No wonder you have a huge knot in your stomach

My son is getting ready to go away as well, only at this point in time we dont know where. I think he does, only he isn't letting on. They have been on night shoots for the last two nights. (always a bad signe) and hubby is in the RAF TA. They have a big NATO exercise in June for two weeks. It never ends does it? Will be thinking about you. I'll give you a call at the end of the week. Take care.
Hugs from Sasha and Blue
