Re: Good luck Sasha & Karen

Sasha's vet has just phoned with the results of her biopsies.

Both lumps were non-malignent histiocytomas - I can breathe again.

Hubby left this morning Jacquie, he is only going for 17 days, but his destination makes it a little more worrying! They are going to be confined to either their compound or work because of the security risks out there!!

Hope you get good news about your son - it's so worrying when you dont know what you have coming to worry about!!

I'm so happy that Sasha is ok. :jump: what a weight lifted from you.

Your hubby will be ok (I'm sure) The mere fact he will be confined to a secure place makes it better....just sounds scarry!

Need to go and do doggy stuff. Talk soon

Wonderful news Karen, good job really what with your hubby being posted at the same time, he would have felt even worse leaving if the news wasn't good. Hope the next couple of weeks pass quickly and safely

Thats great news about Sasha Karen,

You must be so relieved. At the beginning it is so hard to think anything but the worst isn't it, but at least things turned out well for her in the end.

We will all do our best to keep you company whilst your hubby is away, and of course you have Sasha to give you lots of sloppy kisses and cuddles!!!!

Poor Sasha, she has just had us killing ourselves laughing at her.

Have you ever had something on your cheek or nose that you cant find, but you can certainly see??? Well Sasha finally spotted her stitches out of the corner of her eye today and just cannot work out where they are!! It's hysterical watching her rubbing her leg or chewing her shoulder trying to grab the things that are attached to her face.

Poor thing, I mustn't laugh, but it certainly cheered me up!

So glad she's on the mend and your enjoying her again. If only to laugh at her. Laughter is a good tonic.

Hi Karen

I hope Sashas stitches are healing ok and that she is leaving them alone.

When do they come out?

I know what you mean about when they see something out of the corner of their eye - Henry finally realised the other day that he still has his tail - it took him eight months to realise!!! but now he is chasing his tail at every oportunity - it is so funny , you look out of the window at him in the garden and he is running round and round in circles - he has still not managed to catch it yet!!

I have not laughed as much in my life as i have since we got Tia and Kirei and now with Henry we are always in hysterics.

They are certainly a very entertaining breed!!!!

WhwnI was in the Vet on Friday there was a lady in with a 7month pup. A spaniel, she was asking the vet if it was true that chaseing her tail was a sign of madness!? The vet laughed and said no. Someone had told her because her pup was doing this it could have something wrong with its brain!

Re: Good luck Sasha & Karen

He he he - silly woman!!

Sasha had her stitches out on Monday as planned. Hubby had to take her as I was otherwise occupied! The woman who did it always seems a little edgy with Sasha, I always felt she was waiting for Sasha to attack her!!

Anyway, my hubby said she was really edgy because Sasha kept leaping into her face and of course her stitches were in her ear and on the side of her nose. She decided that she was going to give Sasha a mild sedative to take the stitches out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can you believe it! Luckily a more experienced (or less scared) vet came out and just pinned Sasha down while her stitches came out.

This woman needs to learn about her breeds!! Whats the point of being a vet if you are scared of the things you are treating!!

All wounds have healed nicely!
