Hi Everyone
Ive been on other sites where they talked about the dark pigmentation showing through but hadnt seen any on Katie but now at 11 months [tomorrow!!] you can see all these wee dark spots appearing under her hair. Some of the white dogs I have seen on other sites can be almost compared to dalmatians. They are not very noticeable on Katie - yet! Anyone else got a spotty white Boxer? Helen |

Daz went the same way, as he got older the spots appeared and got bigger. They are very faint, seen through his fur, but when he is wet, he does look half Dalmation (Pink & White).

I also have a dalmatian boxer - when tash was young she had a lovely pink nose and not a black spot in sight but now she has a completely black nose and black spots all over her, mostly her lower body / under carriage!!!

Hi Helen have posted a pic of Tash in the art gallery you should just be able to make out her spots, because I have to resize the photo so it will fit they are not very clear but if you look hard you can see them.
Mooly has them as well on her stomach and chest where she is white. Paul |

Yup Sasha has them too. When she has bath she looks like a dalmation! Most of them are on her belly area and flanks although she does have a couple around her face.
Her sister has a couple on her eye lids which look a bit strange! They'll come Helen dont worry, Sasha's only really came out in the last nine months or so and she will be two in September.

Polos the same (something to point out when we get the albino comments!) they're always more noticeable in summer when their coats are a bit thinner.

B lue has them too. They tend to start showing when they get a bit older. I would say if she hasn't got any by now she probably wont get alot (if any)

Yepper, they come as they get older. Eddie also looks like a dalmation when he is wet. Now he still gets more and they get bigger the older he gets...they seem to be growing together! He has large black areas now that you can see when he is wet. I think they all get them don't they?
How old are the white boxers here???? Eddie is 9 years old.

Sasha will be two in September and didnt have a single spot until just before Christmas. I remember seeing others and thinking ha, at least Sasha doesn't look like a dalmation - how wrong I was!!
I think they also help with identification - Sasha has three in a row under her back leg, so we could always "spot" her if anyone dyed her fur or something? I think you are right Nicki, I think they all do get them to one degree or another.

I caught him, spots up.
There is little precious little fur under his front left leg(oxter). Notice how the spots are obscured as the fur gets thicker. SPOTS |

I wil make you all laugh now. Oh Katie is 11 months old now. Just after we got Katie I kept seeing these dirty spots througout her coat and kept washing her. After about a week it finally dawned on me that they were actually brindle hairs mixed through her coat!!!  |

He he he Helen. If it makes you feel any better, I did more or less same thing with Sasha! Kept seeing these brown bits - of course my excuse is that I didnt get her until she was 5 months old!
