 Poor Rocky has been terrified since yesterday ********* fireworks, we had to sedate him (doggie tranquilsers), Peebles firework display was last night however there are fireworks going off all around us tonight, people having mini displays in thier back gardens, I know it is`nt anyones fault Rock is like this but I still fireworks. How have your babies been??? yvonne

Poor Rocky! Hope he recovers ok - hopefully he just slept through the whole thing in the end?
I stayed home, mindful of the fact that Sasha isn't herself just now but, despite fireworks going off next door and around us, she didn't really pay that much heed to them. Obviously me shouting and the kids running outdo fireworks daily!!!

Katie hates them and has been very frightened. The first night it was bad. she needed lots of cuddles and reassurance and even then she was still very scared. Felt so sorry for her. Rosie just snored on!
Something we did worked the first night as the next night although distracted at times she wasnt so worried. I hate them though - especially since those thugs threw fireworks at the car with my elderly mum and the dogs in it. Think that is why Katie is so frightened. Hope Rocky is okay? Helen |

Sorry Rocky has a bad time with them. Our house was just normal (if it ever is)
They were going off fast and feriouse at one point in all directions, sounded like war had broken out. Ceilidh looked at a couple then was Boared, Blue and the kittens didnt bother there bums.

Thankfully Heskey didnt seem to bothered. A bit more alert but that was about it. Our big display was last night and he slept through it. I didnt take him out until about 1130 last night and there were still a few going off. He kept on stopping to watch them, it was a bit like "wow mum did you see that!"

Molly has been a nightmare shaking and very cutchy whereas Tash loves going for walks and barking at the strange coloured objects in the sky - aah the joys of one deaf dog and their was me thinking their were no benefits!!!!!!!!
The only problem with Fireworks is that people will have them going off up till and including the New Year, bloody marvellous!!!!!!!!!! NOT. Paul |

Sasha stood in the back garden last night, looked and some fireworks and then came in and lay down as if to say "what's all the fuss about" ...................... then I raise my voice and she runs for cover!!!
Should have used me for the gunpowder plot eh!!

Even with a tranquiliser Rocky was scared stiff, we tried everything to console him but nothing, poor wee soul, he is a lot better today, hopefully there will be no more at least for a while, hope all your babies are ok now too. yvonne
