Hi Everyone
I had a half day today - taking mum to hospital for one of her check-ups. When we got back I decided that rather than wait until the usual time after tea I would take the girls out there and then It never fails to amuse me when folk look at Rosie, then Katie then do a double take as it dawns on them that Katie is a white Boxer, you just dont see the white babies over here. Walking back up the road to the house [quiet side road] I noticed a car coming towards us, the occupants - two ladies saw the girls and actually slowed right down, both beaming in delight I just think that maybe one of them either had a white Boxer or had had one at some time cos they definitely knew what our Katie was - recognition at last Helen |

I love watching people's faces as they go past Sasha - they are always laughing and smiling! Good job Sasha doesnt understand otherwise she would get a complex!
Boxers always draw attention, I suppose the white ones are just that extra bit noticeable! |

When i had Jake, people use to recognise him before they did me as he was the only white boxer that you use to see around here. Its nice to see more of them now.

Tonight I saw the cutest pup - all white staffy! There really is something seriously cute about white pups/dogs. It reminded me a lot of Katie.

Some folks are still confused,until I tell them Chloe is a boxer.She's just white.
Alot of people apparently didn't know(before theymet Chloe,anyway),that boxers are in MANY colors.You can actually find more of the whites around here,now.In kansas,anyway. I do always hear,Oh,she's so big.Oh,she's so sweet.What a nice dog.She's so pretty. Chloe is quite the great ambassador(sp?),for white boxers.She LOVES the attention,I think. |

You should see the looks of bewilderment when we tell people Rock is Bonnie & Clydes son, peolpe know Bonnie is a boxer, I had an argument with a man who did not believe me Clyde was a boxer , there is a few white boxers here so most people know Rock is a boxer, it is usually tourists who ask what breed of dog Rock & Clyde are., Ive also had tourists take pictures of my 3, but those people have had boxers of their own.
