Just thought i'd let you all know that Chaos has just had his first weekend holiday at my sisters and he was fine. After initially crying for a while and looking out of the window for us, he settled down and has had a ball. Think they've exhausted him as he's been in the land of nod since we collected him!!! At least I know he'll be fine when we're away for our holidays, which is a relief.

WE ARE OFF TO THAILAND AND DUBAI. AWAY FOR 3 WEEKS SO VERY PLEASED THAT CHAOS WILL BE SAFE. ITS BEEN BOOKED SINCE LAST SUMMER BEFORE WE GOT HIM, BUT I'M SURE HE'LL HAVE A BALL AND ENJOY HIMSELF AS I KNOW MY SISTER WILL SPOIL HIM.
THANKFULLY GAIL HAS SAID THAT SHE WILL HAVE HIM ANY TIME, ESPECIALLY AS SHE IS DESPERATE FOR A BOXER HERSELF AS SHE LOVES THEM. CHAOS IS HELPING HER CONVINCE HER OTHER HALF INTO AGREEING SO I HOPE HE DOESN'T BLOT HIS COPY BOOK AND LIVE UP TP HIS NAME WHEN HE'S THERE. FINGERS CROSSED I'LL BE LOOKING FOR A BABY FOR HER SOON. I hope you have a lovely holiday Amanda and i am sure Chaos will be just fine.
I remember the first time we went away after we got Tia & Kirei - we were worried that they would forget us. They stayed with Brendans parents and we were on the phone every day checking that they were okay - they were fine of course - but we have always found that towards the end of our holidays we are always looking forward to getting home and getting lots of wet sloppy kisses from them. We are off to Corfu for two weeks in the summer and it will be the first time we have left Henry for more than a few days - this time Brendans brother is coming to stay at our house to look after them so they will be in their own enviroment, they absolutely love his brother and probably wont miss us at all as he spoils them rotten. I am sure Chaos will make up for all the hugs and kisses that you have missed as soon as you get back!!!!

Just got chaos back from my other sisters as she has had him for a couple of days (at the request of her 4yr old daughter!!!).
Think he took slightly longer to settle and after trying to claw his way through her sitting room door after us and escaping up the road, we eventually were able to leave him and he was fine. Not sure if she's as keen to have him as ny other sister as she thinks we have him spoilt which is true to a point but he is my baby. She did struggle when out for a walk as Chaos has taken to chewing his lead at times and going round in circles, a taxi driver stopped, wound his window down and thanked her for the funniest sight he'd seen so far this year, she was a tad embarrassed but thats all part of the fun!!! Needless to say he's now home and crashed out. Amanda |

Oh Amanda I had to smile. Even Rosie at the grand age of six when she wants to be "naughty" does the grab the lead and twirl round bit. Think its a "boxer" thing. Case of if you dont listen to me and what I want, I will make sure you do take notice. I stop and tell her that shes far too old for such childish behaviour!!

Talking of embarrasing moments ............ when we were coming back from Mull one year we were parked up on the ferry and Sasha saw some people up on the decks. Anyway she started "talking" to them - loudly and they got their camera out and filmed her!! I just hid in the front seat - there was nowhere for us to go as we were in the middle of the sea on a bloomin ferry!
Seems like Chaos is charming his way around the neighbourhood! |
