Well I am pleased to say I think we have finally cracked it. We haven't had an accident in the house for at least a month now!!
![]() Not only that but ........................... she has started barking in the night if she wants out ![]() By jove I think she has it ![]() It's such a relief not to have to worry about what you are going to find when you come down in the morning!! We haven't even put any mats down recently and still have two languishing in the garage ![]() Thank you for asking Helen! How is wee Harvey getting on with his? p.s. that was all whispered so that Tizzy didn't hear me!!

Well done Tizzy - whispering of course
![]() Sounds as though you have finally cracked it Karen. I remember a sense of relief when we stopped coming down the stairs to little puddles and parcels when ours were younger. Keep up the good work Tizzy

Thats great Karen! Well done.
Harvey was 16 weeks yesterday and over the past few days it has begun to sink in that you are not meant to do puddles and poos in the house which I think is the begining of the end!! He is growing so fast - once we got a food that agreed and maintains him he has not waiting to grow. he is nearly as big as Katie now. Helen |

id like it if your pups could have a word or two with mia,she seems a bit more thickheaded than yours.
actually she was doing fine then this week once again it was just easier to go in the house.its funny,i think she forgets to go.she could be outside for an hour or two then comes inside to pee.but if i take her out on the leash right after being outside she pees then comes back in. |

Well done Tizzy
Its a bit hit and miss with Poppy still. She is sleeping through the night so as long as we put her out straight away we dont have any accidents but we do still have the odd accident during the day. Just like Mia will somethimes come in from outside and do it in the house. I'm sure when I posted recently about this someone said not to expect her to be house trained before 8 months so I do think she is doing well for her age, she's only 4 and a half months old. My worry is she never asks to go out but I'm hoping this will come.

Heidi goes out last thing b4 going to bed, but mind u her bed is the cage, so she wont pee in it. She gets out early in the morning when Stephen goes to work so no accidents through the night any more..... she is really good during the day unless we have gone out for a while and she cant hold it in any longer, its a wee shame. Occasionally she will get too excited with meeting us at the door when we come back that she wont go outside to pee and then half an hour later when we shut the back door she remembers that she needs and goes on the floor awwwww.... she knows what to do , but at that age she only has an eeny weeny bladder lol x

I think my georgie must have come paper trained, she will only ever go on newspaper, bit of a pest seeing she wont go in the large park opposite our house....Still she did manage to go on the new carpet of our local pub and got us instantly barred!

Well you know the answer to that then - put the paper outside
![]() Tizzy rarely goes when we are out on walks. She may wee but she hardly ever poos - she saves that for the garden ![]() It's quite good though because it means I don't have to worry about her pooing in the street ![]() Honestly though, if you put the paper outside, she will soon learn to follow the paper. Move the paper further and further into the garden, whilst "forgetting" to put it down inside.

I don't know to be honest Louise? Tizzy isn't really a daddy's girl and he does work days and nights, so I would be surprised if she had noticed just yet?
Both dogs have been going nuts the past few evenings, acting like complete loons at 9pm at night!! Sasha has been unsettled and I know she is missing Rob - she is a little fretful. The poo she left was normal - so I don't know? She can poo and wee as a punishment for me too! We were out the other day and my daughter was home alone with them. Charlotte went into the garage and Tizzy couldn't get in to follow her - so she weed by the door

Its funny the things they do isn't it? I think I've mentioned it before but Poppy punishes me by chewing something, she only ever does it if she has to be put in the kitchen. I only do it if I have to, like if she's stealing the wee ones dinner or biting. The kitchen floor has a big hole in it and she's started on a shelf in there now. I was telling my husband its like having two toddlers in the house just now. They're both asleep at either end of the sofa the its so peaceful in here.

Well since that eventful night, Tizzy has been really good.
She is even lasting until 9am now, which is great because it means I get a lie in on a weekend ![]() In fact on school mornings now, she hardly rushes out of her bed, so I think her bladder and brain may finally be working together
