The Hound Glove

I finally got round to buying a hound glove today after the recommendations by everyone here! Our main problem was getting Sasha to let us use it on her as she has a thing against gloves in general - we think her last owners used to smack her a lot when she was out walking etc when she ran off, as she tends to get a bit narked if you show her a glove!!

It's was amazing though!! I have been using a soft brush on Sasha and I thought it was doing the job until I used this thing on her!! My garden looked like it had been snowing after we had finished with her!! I couldnt believe the amount of hair that came off her, no wonder my carpets are a state these days!

To be honest, we got a bit worried that she was going to end up bald as the fur never seemed to stop coming out. Is that just because she hasn't had a good brushing - or were we doing it too hard? Having never used this glove before, I was a bit worried about over use??!!

How often do you all use your hound glove??

Yes, that's weekly for Daz. 15 minutes with the glove then he gets hoovered. He loves the attention of the hoover and the hair drier when he is wet. His skin dad says that "his mum knitted him"

We have tried "hoovering" Sasha - she goes completely nuts and ends up charging around the house like a lunatic!

Nightmare!

Rob got ours in Boots in Elgin. You can get JML stuff from Boots, Homebase and Woolies I think. If you have any probs getting one, give me a shout and I can post one to you. Can't remember how much it cost but it wasnt over a fiver I dont think, and it would be cheaper than ordering it through JML as I wont charge £4.99 P&P!!.
