a blooming hellish weekend

I have periodically logged on to the site, laughed, cried and welcomed your about the joys and woes of living with a white boxer.

Sadly my bit brave lad lost his fight last night and died following a huge seizure. We always knew it could happen as he had unstable epilepsy

He has left a huge void in our lives and is irreplaceable. Despite that we know that it probable wont be long before we join you again.

Thanks

Liz

Hi Liz

I was so sorry to read about your loss, you must be devastated.

Knowing that it could happen at any time doesn't make it any easier when the time comes.

I am sure though that he had a very happy life with you and couldn't have wanted anything more.

Thinking of you at this sad time.

Caroline

Dear Liz

I am really really sorry to hear about your loss. I am sure your boy had a happy life and was loved to bits, and he was made all that more special by his condition.

Our babies become part of our lives and its always hard when they leave us for what ever reason, but although it hurts just now, some time soon in the future you will be able to smile and remember all the joy and happiness he gave you.

Thinking of you

Re: a blooming hellish weekend

Dear all, thanks for your kind thoughts. The house is so empty at the moment and were running out of places to go! Certainly my liver is suffering from the alcohol consumption over the last few days. We have decided already that we need a boxer in our lives, so now its a case of looking. The new dog will never be Jake, nor will it ever replace him, but will bring its own personality into our lives. Please if any of you here of a dog looking for a new home, let us know. We live in Carlisle, but travel isnt a problem.

Thanks again
Liz
