Phew we have had a busy weekend.
I collected a lovely Joe yesterday from his mum and granny. They were in floods of tears, got me going too! What a stunning big white boy he was! And so good! (put mine to shame) the familys circumstances had changed so he had to be rehomed. The good news is he got a new mum and dad who adore him already! he will be going to work with his dad juring the day and at weekends will be going fishing!  Today we got a 9 month white wee boy in. He is going to a new mum and dad who already have been out and bought all the things he would need, from a bed to toys. and last but not least my Roxy (well not mine but she has stayed here) her new mum and dad are over the moon that they have such a good natured wee girl. I'll keep you all posted with there progress. Remember if anyone is looking for a new baby give us a shout!:loveya:

It's sad to hear that there are so many babies needing new home, but totally heartwarming that there are still plenty of people out there who are able to help them!!
Keep up the good work folks, you are doing a marvellous job for boxers everywhere!! Remember, if you need any help up this way, you know who to call! Karen  |

Hi jacquie - its Liz here of the"hellish weekend". Please let me know if you have any dogs looking for a new home. Its still very raw here having lost Jake,but the house just doesnt feel right without having a big bouncing boxer in it. I live in Carlisle, but travel isnt a problem for us. Hi Jacquie, have completed the form, suspect you may now have two from me, but god loves a trier! Sounds like you have also had a weekend of highs and lows! Glad the dogs in your care have found new homes to be happy in. Hopefully hear from you soon - the house is so empty, even the cats gone into a decline!

I hope Jaquie can help you in finding a new boxer baby. I know no other dog could replace Jake but another baby will stop your home feeling so empty, and will give you so much boxer love. We have three boxers and i could not imagine not having a boxer around now. A house is not a home without a boxer in it!!! Sorry didn't know you had already filled in a form  Were trying to link it up that we all get them, at the moment they all go to Lorraine! She try's to send them on to us but sometimes they get "lost in cyber space" LOL Will defenitly keep you in mind. I'm sure you wont have to wait long. Keep your chin up. I know it's early days but it will get better.

Good luck in finding a new baby Liz. I lost my first boxer 6 years ago and only got a new one last year. I would have had one sooner, but I had a baby in between etc and didnt think it was the best time.
Once a boxer house, always a boxer house I say - they just bring something so special to our lives that we cant be without them. I am sure Jacquie, Pat, Yvonne & Co will be able to help you - they do a fantastic job. I hope your days get easier soon Karen |

Let us know who goes where and how they get on - their stories always warm my heart when you have a happy ending. Lorraine, is it worth trying to create a completely new sign in process? Very very silly question, but the sign in is case sensitive isn't it? You didn't have caps lock on when you registered or something?? Elaine and Rob are giving one of our babies a forever home,
He sounds great. He's only 18 months old and white, the lady that has him said "do you know how big these dogs get?" It makes you wonder eh? I took a little brindle boy to his new mum today. She had been so exited she had made him a quilt! Which turned out to be really good as he came to me with nothing. Not even bowls!He had a harness which was obviously new and didn't fit! Have a look at his picture on the site and you will see what I mean. When I started helping with Boxer Welfare I was 5ft 11 inches, now I'm 5ft 2inches!  It's all the miles I've done!:rotflmao:

I wont be meeting them until Friday but.........................another squeeky toy does spring to mind  They are a tease though, they have told the kids he wont understand there English accents as he is Scottish! poor kids think it's true

Translated = I do not care for the people of Yorkshire, I find them Intolerable. One should teach your pet boxer the ways of the people of Lancashire as they are a superior race!! Only Joking - calm down every body!!!!!! You are all great and I don't care where you are from, I live in Wales for heavens sake. Everybody picks on the welsh - imagine it, not only am I a northerner but to add insult to injury my clients based in London think it hilarious that I don't know what a cd player is and that I work down the pit during the evenings!! See I can take the urine out of myself a true sign of the repressed. Well done Rob and Elaine and the best of luck with the new arrival - maybe you could teach it welsh and then Molly and Tash would be able to visit and you could tell the kids they were talking in welsh!! Tea time is the worst in my house - and not because of the kids!!
Sasha gets fed at 4.30pm but from 3.30 she will be on the edge of her seat waiting "just in case it comes early"!! As soon as you move a muscle, she leaps up and sits there hopefully - and yet she never gets it early!! When are Elaine and Rob getting their new baby?? Karen |
