sore tail

For a couple of days now I have noticed that Chaos's white tip on his tail has been looking rather pink. When I had a close look I saw a small sore. As he's been at my mums happily playing with her black lab bud, I assumed it had happened there.

Today however the penny has finally dropped. Poor chaos is getting that excited when we get in that he wags his tail that much it is hitting of the inside of the cage. How guilty do we feel!!!!

Thankfully it doesn't seem to be bothering him and we're now not gonna hang about when we get in before letting him out. Hopefully it'll settle down in time.

Aww bless him! It's amazing how these things happen - at least you solved the mystery Amanda!!

Perhaps you can take some comfort in the fact that Chaos just has a little sore on his tail - I discolated Sasha's!! She still gives me a sideways look if I go anywhere near it when I am brushing or towelling her!

Hope it heals up for him soon.

Awh you are both lucky that your babies have tails! Are they pure white to the tip? I bet Katie would have looked lovely with one. Hope Chaos is ok soon

AS CHAOS IS BRINDLE ITS JUST THE TIP THAT IS WHITE BUT ITS FITS IN NICELY WITH HIS WHITE PAWS, CHEST AND NOSE. I THINK THAT WHY IT DOESN'T SEEM ODD THAT HIS TAIL IS THERE - IT JUST FITS!!!!
MY OTHER HALF IS ON NIGHTS THIS WEEK SO HE WON'T BE IN THE CAGE AT ALL AS HE BEHAVES IMPECCABLY AS LONG AS SOMEONE IS IN, LEAVE HIM FOR 2MINS AND HE LIVES UP TO HIS NAME!!!!!

Hope you dont think Im being cheeky but when I read the above quickly I thought it looked as if your partner was kept in a cage! Never mind. Bet Chaos likes having his mum all to himself!!

My Zoe was brindle with a white tip to her tail. I always thought it looked as if she had dipped the end of it in a white paintpot!

He he he, love the cage comment - how many of us would like to have a cage for our husbands when they are being a nuisance!!

Helen, Sasha doesn't have her tail - that being said I still managed to dislocate a stump!!!
