I am so angry i am absolutely shaking with temper, I have just got out of the shower and was opening my bedroom blinds and saw a lad walking past carrying an English Bull Terrier.
Our house is on a really busy road, and the lad stopped to talk to a couple that had been at the chemist across the road. He was bragging to the couple that he already had a full breed killer pit bull at home. The pup was approximately 7 weeks old and he put it down on the pavement.....no lead, it was at that point i started feeling a bit sick. It crawled under a fence and went into a neighbours garden, he climed the fence put it back on the pavement, and it crawled back under the fence and into the garden. The lad started swearing picked it up and flung it back over the fence and preceded to kick its back end constantly to get it to move. Which was the point i lost it and bawled out the window at him, he told me where to get off.....its his dog and he can do what he wants with it ![]() If i ever thought either of my boys would treat an animal like that i would blooming kill them. We have stayed in this house for 14 years and i think now its time to sell up and move into more of a rural home.... oh god i hate this place and the scum that walk the street with their dogs thinking they are hard!!!! Shona x

Poor dog!! Do you know where the dog lives, might be worth keeping an eye out and reporting him to the police if he has a pit bull at home?

I havent a clue where he stays, i have never seen him before.
But i DO intend to find out. The family along from me had an English Bull terrier that had pups recently so i will ask him if he knows who the lad is......hopefully if its one of their pups they will realise that he he is not suitable owner and take the poor thing back. Shona x

Not only people under a certain age.
My neighbour appeared with a Husky type pup, beautiful boy. She was helping out her daughter and husband to look after it. The husband had bought it as a gift to the neighbour's daughter. The husband works 2 weeks offshore then 3 weeks at home. The daughter is a full time nurse working 12 hour shifts at least 4 times a week. My neighbour works 8 till 5 Mon. to Fri. No real thought went into the requisition of this dog. Anyway, it was rehomed 5 weeks later. Two weeks after that, my neighbour appears with a 6 week old Lab/Spaniel cross puppy that she has just taken on. Between the two households they could not look after the first one. Last week "Oscar" was put to the local Cat and Dog home. My neighbour and her daughter/son in law, should not have been allowed to take on any dog. Maybe a fish tank or Gerbil, but not a dog.

YOu see it all too often nowadays - where I live they all have staffs. Alot of the pwners are extremely responsible but it's the youngsters and I hate to stereotype. They all hang around the town with their staffs wearing those big harnesses as a status symbol and think it's funny when the dog goes for another one. One the other hand though I took GIxer to Hastings on MAy Day as there's a big motorbike run there. I was having coffee with frineds and there were 2 lads with a Boxer - I was a bit uncertain but eventually qwent over to talk to them - they were lovely and very responsible about their dog and also knowledgable about the breed - it's not all youngsters!!

yeah, i know you're right, young ones arent all bad owners.
I have a 16 and an 18 year old son and if they got dogs there is no way they would teat them bad. They have brought up to treat all animals nicely.....mind you they wouldn't dare!!!!! I went onto the sspca web site last night and nearly every dog is a staffy with an occasional rottie up for rehoming. It makes me so angry. The husky story is really sad, what a cheek getting another one after puting it up for rehoming. They should be banned ![]() shona x

Neighbour on the other side. Had a staffie bitch, no training, proper nightmare. Moved in her new boyfriend c/w another staffie bitch, but very sociable, except to other bitches in the same house. We helped the neighbour rehome her own staffie(who has landed on her feet with a young family in the countryside). Since that the neighbour has fallen pregnent, 3 months to go. And they appear with a 7 week old white staffie dog pup this week. Cost £200.
He is the cutest thing ever, reminds me of my Dazzy boy at that age. But, what are they thinking about? Baby on the way! Nuts. Yet again, no thought to the future.
