I got a call from the Dog and Cat home on Saturday. Could I rehome a boxer for them? He was drawing the "wrong" kind of people. Yip I could help them.
We went to see him on Monday, a real sweety. We arranged for him to get castrated on Tuesday and I would collect him on Thursday ( all being Well) We had a couple who had been intouch with us and asked if they would be interested. Well there were hoots for joy! I described him and they were really keen. Off I went yesterday to pick him up ( no problems ) got slobbered to death and took him to his new home only 10 mins from there house when I got a phone call from Derek saying they had changed there minds! I have him at my house just now and what a sweetheart! Liz he has a tail LOL He is light brindle with a black mask, and a tail. Have a look on the web site he's on Fogs looking for homes. I wish we could keep him but it's too soon. We will keep him til the right home comes along. www.boxerwelfarescotland.org.uk

Jacquie how you still have faith in the human race is beyond me!! I think I would have hit a few more people by now!!
He looks a real sweety too! Why couldnt they have changed their minds BEFORE you went to all the trouble of getting him sorted out with them and not put him through that. I think we should send Paul round to them! Zara looks so peaceful bless her - she looks like a really gentle soul. God I wish I could take all these babies in!!

The cars running and the baseball bats by my side - all I need now is an address. Maybe then me and betsy the baseball bat can have a word with these inconsiderate people about time wasting, respect and consideration for others!!
As Karen says Jacquie how you keep your cool is beyond me but then again I suppose in the greater scheme of things life is too short so why worry about these people at least the dog is in a good half way house until the right forever home comes along!! Keep up the good work Jacquie. Paul |

I'm glad to report he has gone to his "forever home". His new Mum and Dad were over the moon with him. They have changed his name to Max. He really took to them when they came in, and left with no hesitation.
That's what makes it all worth while.

Zara had a home as well. The people are going to bring her to me tomorrow and her new parents will pick her up. She sounds great. Good job Derek is level headed or I would have a house full
 Guess what? The dog that I picked up yesterday that's now called Max doesn't snore!!!!!:shocked: That's a first for me. Mind you he was sick all over my bedroom last night

Time wasting. Our Rosie was only kept 3 weeks in her first home as a puppy. Oh well their loss was very much our gain. She is our "angel" girl.

Oh bugger,lifes been so hectic that i havent had time to log on and ive missed that one! Had a look at the web page, but the dog you have in now would probably cause more problems with the cat (still living upstairs but going stir crazy). Heskeys booked in for his wee op on the 8th so will start looking properly after that

Got a call from both people. Re "max" (with tail ) and Zara.
Zara has fitted in like a "well worn glove" I'll be putting her new photo on soon. And Max, he walkes to heal, sits at the kerb and is great with everyone and everything! isn't that great! I'm so happy for them. That is what makes it all worth while:loveya: :loveya:
