That is an appalling story, poor thing. I'm sure he will recocer physically, but you wonder, knowing boxers, how he will fare mentally. Some people need locking up, no doubt, if they trace the owners, they'll get off lightly

Oh my god - that gave me goose bumps and brought tears to my eyes! How sad, that poor wee chap couldnt have done anything to deserve that kind of treatment.
Like you say Jacquie, makes me ashamed to be human. It sounds positive for his future though, lets just hope he finds a loving home and that the b*******ds that did this get locked away for a very long time!! I have copied the link for you Helen Charlie's Story

The world really is full of sick people, whatever happened to asking for help if you cannot cope or cannot be bothered? Lets face it who ever the owners were it is all to apparent that not only could they not be bothered but they did not careless either.
If only they had gone to a rescue or shelter for dogs and handed him over earlier.................... people who treat animals like this make my blood boil!! Lets hope Charlie finds a home full of love with devoted, commited and uderstanding owners - at least then he may make a full recovery. Meanwhile who fancies a bit of detective work tracking down the garbage that left him in this conditon - I don't know about prosecution, that would be too good for them just lock them up and throw away the key because let's face it they obviously think that is acceptable behaviour judging by Charlies condition!!! Regardless of whether the previous owners are prosecuted I hope Charlie finds a new home soon!! Paul |
