Thought I'd share this Gixer can be so cunnig at times. In the night when he needs the garden he paces around the bedroom andjust stands by my side of the bed to wake me up. I say "do you want the garden" and he heads down stairs. He has now worked out a cunning plan. He does the pacing and standing so I waake when I get out of bed he follows me and as I reach the stairs he legs it back to the bed and jumps in my place
 Some nights we have a race to get there - he usually wins but then I kick him off. It is really funny but I can't believe he's worked out to do it

People are always telling me that Boxers are stupid and i have to argue that they only act daft to cover up how clever they are! They are very clever dogs and Gixer has just proved that...... so funny! x

I know I'm amazed at how he's worked it out. I agree that people always say they are stupid however when we did agility one of the trainers who is also a dog behaviourist said our problem with Gix is that he is highly intelligent. Pity he doesn't show it most of the time it much more fun being a clown!
