What strange things your dogs eat!! Dont let them near the clamatis as they are poisonous!!!! Heskey is partial to grapefruit at the moment

clematis is a climbing flowering plant. Polo used to eat all our strawberries, never bothered with them again :smash6:

Gixer likes grapes - he'll throw them around and chase them before eating them. Our last boy used to pinch them off the fruit bowl 1 at a time. He doesn't eat things in the garden but loves a pomegranite - infact our others did to it is funny as the bits get stuck in their lips.
Saxby our last babe used to eat carrots that I was growing so I gave up
Can't say GIx does much like that but there isn't much in the garden as I gave up on gardens and Boxers - Oh - he'll eat the apples from out tree after playing with them and he loves the ice cream man coming round!!

I thought the same when I read it, mind you chocolate isn't supposed to be good either & Polo's stolen loads over the years (sometimes in large quantities :vangry: )with no ill effect :smash6: so may depend on the individual.

Re: Tomatos...and Chili

very true a bout chocolate....mine have stolen it also. i think it depends on the amount vs size of the dog??? i know champ, a friends lab decided to steal an antire plate of christmas cookies and chocolate was the main ingredient and the vet told them not to worry, he was at about 100 lbs at hte time....

heres a link i found...it causes kidney failure
