Hubby had Polo back at the 'hospital' yesterday for xrays to check the healing on his second leg - everything was looking good, so we can now start gradually increasing his excercise again
 After 4 weeks we can even start letting him off the lead, gradually building that up too - just in time for (hopefully) better weather  It's amazing to think that it was 4 months last week since his first op

Very well thanks Karen, he's allowed off his lead for a short time now on walks, which he loves
we still cringe though whenever he does anything too energetic  It's now a case of slowly building up his fitness & stamina but it's lovely to see him so playful again

Oops, spoke too soon
he's now limping on his right leg, upped his anti-inflamatory/painkiller last night (wwhich is what we were advised in the past by the vet), hopefully it's nothing to worry about

Oh no! Hopefully it's just a little stiff, it's a lot to go through.
We have someone on BWS forum who is just going through this too. I have quoted Polo to set their minds at rest!
