New member needs help!!!

Hello there, I am completely new to this forum but not so new to Boxers....... I love them. I have up unitl 15th December owned 2 boxers. One 'red' called Monty and one 'white' called Hugo. Sadly I lost Monty on this date which has been, as you will all understand , quite horrendous. Monty would have been 9 this year ( a young age I know ). Anyway I now have to concentrate on Hugo who will be 2 in march. Hugo has, from a couple of months old suffered with only what I describe as 'teenage acne'.......He has been treated with antibiotics a few times but only to reappear a couple of weeks later.....It does not seem to worry him but is truly unsightly and looks quite pussy bloody and sore on occasions....I wonder if anyone has any advise or info on causes, treatments etc etc.. Thanks :help:

Once the antibiotics are finished, I would just treat him with sudocream regularly to keep them under control. My last girl had them a lot too, Sasha still gets them at 5 and Tizzy does too - it's very common.

You could bathe them in tea tree oil or lavender and that should help keep them clean.

Just to add, might be worth getting him on Evening primrose oil to help with this skin too?

Is it everywhere?Just on the face????
I ask, because my Chloe had it on just her face and she was allergic to the plastic bowl I was feeding her from!
After I switched to stainless steel bowls, her acne cleared up.Could your baby have an allergy to plastic?
