Deaf Boxers

There is a small group called deaf boxers at http://www.dogsunite.com and it would be good if somebody could post some tips re living with a deaf boxer.
I find it hard to find information and my vet is next to useless.
:thanks:

Re: Deaf Boxers

my white is deaf as a rock.........ya the vet here was also pretty useless! we got really lucky and i found an ad on craigslist for a trainer that wasnt an arm and a leg. i emailed her and she had esp with deaf dogs. they had a deaf dogo argentino that they used for demonstrations. it took her 4 days >YES 4< to get her to down stay....you really have to be consistant with your hand signals and work with them ALOT ALOT ALOT!!!
