Fits

Visa had a fit (for the first time) on the 27 th of January after playing with the neighbour's dog in my flat .It last only a few seconds and she passed urine.I was quite upset. The day after she slept a lot(normal apparently) .On Saturday 29 th of January,we went to the park with my partner and daughter and Visa was not following us ,she was sniffing at some grass.I called her she ran at full pelt towards us and collapsed for a few good seconds poor thing and passed faeces. We see the vet in a few days and I cannot wait to know what to do .We go for walk now and walk not too fast .I'm pushing the pushchair anyway so they are cool walks.Visa will be 10 in april, did it happen to your dogs already? thank for your replies.

Re: Fits

Thank you for your reply irishdancer1 and sorry to be so long to answer.I managed to have internet today but for months I was off connection, bills unpaid oops :blushing:So yes we went to the vet and Visa had ultrasounds and a treatment for her heart failure only for a week (Vitamed,Fortekor) she cannot do it to the park anymore at the end of the street but we go out in the neighbourhood often and slowly we walk. She loves the sun and enjoy laying on the patio. Her stomach is oversized but seemed better with the medication given. She eats again but was very skinny. All suddenly started the last January it has been a shock for us.She was 10 in April .We go back to the vet on Saturday the 17 th of may for more tests and a treatment .During the day she sometimes pants so much poor thing.
