I have just been flicking through the settings and have finally noticed the setting for putting the last post in a thread at the top, so you dont have to scroll down to read a whole thread if it gets really long?
What do you think, leave it like it is (oldest post at top) or try new way (newest post at top)?

I think I've always had the newest post at the top, maybe it's a setting I altered myself

Mine has always been at the top too.......when i am logged in.
If i am not logged in it always comes up with the oldest first. I prefer it with the newest one at the top as like you said it saves scrolling all the way down ![]()

I must admit I dont like it, I prefer it the way it is. I belonged to another forum that had it reversed and just could not get used to it. Gave up in the end and didnt go back.
Maybe if folk have the option to do it themsleves or not as the case may be would be best way to do it? You could put a sticky on with instructions of how to do it if they want to.

Most admins have the ability to check usernames etc and reset passwords. If you can get in as a guest, you can contact them some how, hopefully!
