Hello!

Hello everyone! I'm so glad I found a blog dedicated to Boxers, especially since my little girl, Rin is a WHITE boxer. I run her on the beach every night and we get stopped sooooooooo often being asked "is she a pit?" "Your American Bulldog is so cute! :headbangers:

" or, "wow, what kind of dog is that" when I respond-"She's a boxer" people look at me in disbelief. They then respond with "I've never seen a WHITE boxer!" I then preceed to go into my schpeel on boxers, white boxers, etc. LOL! So I'm VERY excited to exchange ideas, get advice and just discuss topics about this amazing breed with other owners! I look forward to our discussions. :bighug:

I think we have all gotten used to giving the schpeel on white boxers!

I was doing a Boxer Welfare event at Pets at Home yesterday and we had one of our rescue whites in. A woman asked, oh is she deaf because she is white. Both Piper's mum and I both said "no" in a very firm voice and then I had to explain that we both get fed up with that statement. She went away a lot more educated :thumbs:

It can be VERY frustrating! I get excited whenever someone tells me that she's a beautiful BOXER! Thank you by the way! Your boxers are gorgeous! Boxer lovers are a different "breed" of people, I think. I look forward to sharing with all of you as well :jump:

Rin is lovely!
When I was in the shop yesterday a man came up to the car,tapped on the window and asked my mum were the white Boxers [at least he knew what they were] albinos. Mum said "no" and put the window up :thumbs:
