Hi, My Name is karen, and I just got the most adorable white boxer, Samson. Full name Sir Samson-Knight of Kings Hill.
He was a puppy rescue, from a good breeder. But poor little Samson was the runt of a large litter. THe owner desparately tried to help this little guy, but when his own wife had thier 4th child, he could not care for the Samson, and no one wanted him.  He knew of me, being that I'm an un-professional animal shelter. What that really means is, I am known for taking all unwanted pets. Our zoo to date: 2 female rat terriers 1 male sheppard collie mix 1 female belgian sheppard 4 guinea pigs 2 rabbits, with a Flemish giant arriving soon. and one lonely little Eastern slider(water turtle). You may ask why on earth would I take on a sickly puppy. Well if anyone would know it's this forum. I fell in love with the little guy the minute I saw him. We have only had him for one week, and he's already turned the corner. NO more diareah, gained good weight, no worms, heart is good, and Samson of course, is now full of energy. THe male sheppard mix, has adopted him, which does not surprise me as he raised three kittens in our shed last year. Training is no problem when you already have the help of the pack. Samson just does what they do, easy as that. |

Karen and Samson. it sounds like all Samson needed was a little TLC, well done you! I only have Poppy who is 5 months old and a budgie (oh and 3 kids!) and that keeps me busy enough!I cant wait to see pictures of little Samson, how old is he?

Karen and Samson and the rest of your zoo!!Hope you enjoy the site and I look forward to hearing lots more about this brave young lad!! I live in north east Scotland with my two girls, Sasha & Tizzy as well as three kids and a hubby - not quite the same level as your zoo, but it keeps me busy!! Nice to meet you

Hello and welcome. I also have a boxer named Samson, lol. When I bought him he was 6 weeks old and when I took him to the vet they said he only weight 3 lbs. but he is very strong and health now at about 11 months and 65-70 lbs (maybe haven't gotten him on the scale) Good luck with your white babe and the rest of the zoo.
